So, today I'm going to be showing you my favorite looks from the VMA's 2012 red carpet!
And, just like in all Fashion FIY posts, at the end, I'll show how to get one celeb look for a much affordable price ;)
Let's get started!!!!
Taylor Swift:
This girl as a way to always look amazing! Here, she's rocking the manly look with a J. Mendel suit and top, Tom Ford shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. She made it perfect with her signature red lip and smoked eye makeup.
Miley Cyrus:
This girl just keeps surprising us!! She looked great on her Emilio Pucci dress, Edie Parker clutch, Christian Louboutin shoe, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. She had some statement eyeliner and the rest of her makeup was pretty neutral.
I don't know about you, but I'm am LOVING her hair!! This is a very hard look to pull off but this girl did it!
She's really showing her true rock and roll style and I think she look amazing in it!
This woman is just stunning! She's rocking a Elie Saab dress, some Jimmy Choo shoes and a Sethi couture ring.
The dress is one of those that either you love or hate, and I'm sure she knew about it!
But she took the risk and totally succeeded!
Her makeup was simple, to give the dress the spotlight.
Rihanna:
Ok, I can only say one thing about this: STUNNING!
Rihanna is looking fabulous on her Adam Selman white dress, that looks amazing with her skin, and finished the outfit with some Neil Lane earrings and Jacqui Aiche rings.
And, of course, she showed off her gorgeous short hair!
As far as makeup, she had beautiful red lips, bold lashed and defined brows.
Emma Watson:
Let's talk fun and colorful!!
Miss Emma showed up in an amazing Peter Pilotto dress, which she paired with some black Tom Ford shoes.
She has a beautiful braided updo and her makeup was simple and neutral.
Lenay Dunn:
I have to say: I am totally in LOVE with this dress! Mostly the little "belt like" detail on the neck!
And her shoes and clutch totally tie the outfit together!
Unfortunately couldn't find were the clothes are from :(
Holland Roden:
The girl from Teen Wolf looked glamorous on a Pamella Roland nude dress, Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toes pumps and Neil Lane jewelry.
She finished it off with a beautiful updo and neutral makeup.
Kat Graham:
This girl looks great!
She wore a maroon Jean Paul Gaultier suit, a leopard print bra and brown peep-toe booties.
I totally love that her lipstick is matching her suit!
And, as she had a bold lip, she kept the rest of her makeup really simple.
Get the look:
Ok so, this time, I chose to recreate Demi Lovato's outfit!
This girl looks always stunning and she really rocked it on the VMA's red carpet!
She was wearing a sequin dress, amazing studded leather jacket and some A-M-A-Z-I-N-G booties, all from Topshop!
For makeup, she has some super bold lashes and some gorgeous red lips!
To get her look, start by trying to find a black sequined dress. Or, if sequins are too bold for you, try a faux-leather dress, that still shines but in a less dramatic way! These two are both from Macy's.
Then, to make the outfit more edgy, you need the amazing leather jacket! This one is from bankfashion.co.uk
To complete the outfit, she has those amazing booties! Here are two options, both from Steve Madden.
To finish off the look, try some cool false lashes (these are from Ardell) and a nice red lipstick (MAC's Red lipstick).
And that's it!! Now you can go out with your Demi Lovato inspired VMA's look and rock it!!
